Growers and the environment substantially benefit from crop rotation. Because of the Nuseed Value Chain and the closed-loop opportunities it provides, US contract growers who previously did not have access to profitable canola markets, can now rotate in Nuseed Omega-3 Canola. This addition into the crop rotation also helps our environment. Growing the innovative crop provides a habitat for over 2,000 species of beneficial insects, including bees, as well as helping sequester carbon in the soil.
Nuseed’s collaboration with teams at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), Grains Research & Development Corporation (GRDC), plus Excellence Through Stewardship (ETS) certification, independent product analysis by Nofima, and growers following strict production requirements, Nuseed is contributing to a more sustainable future, fueled by the power of plants.
Benita Boettner, Nuseed’s Global General Manager said: “For Nuseed, omega-3 is an important validation of our VALUE BEYOND YIELD® vision. It’s the first step in our goal of providing solutions to the world’s challenges through the power of plants. The innovation and change are truly inspiring and with each success, we get one step closer to making a real difference in the world.”
