With proof-of-concept and initial R&D complete, working with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) and Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), Nuseed quickly began to use its network of expert canola breeders and world-class canola germplasm to conduct advanced trials that put Omega-3 Canola on the fast track for full-scale production farming.
To secure regulatory approvals of the traits within Nuseed Omega-3 Canola, Dr. June Yao, Global Regulatory Lead at Nuseed and her team worked with regulatory bodies in key markets across the globe. Data was aggregated and analyzed to ensure the safety and quality of Nuseed Omega-3 Canola, Aquaterra® for aquafeed, and Nutriterra® for human nutrition.
Dr. June Yao said: “I joined Nuseed because we create products that have very positive, exciting benefits to consumers and address their concerns.”
Today, Nuseed is focusing its regulatory work in key global production and consumption markets.
Robust Nuseed Omega-3 Canola field trials and extensive regulatory studies have confirmed product safety for human and animal consumption, as well as its value as an effective and reliable new source of omega-3, an essential nutrient for human and fish health. Nuseed is delivering both agronomic and consumer benefits through the power of plants.
